In a bid to improve GPU availability in the wake of the ongoing chip shortage and unprecedented levels of demand, Nvidia was set to launch a new version armed with 12GB of VRAM. The VRAM being great future proofing for 4K ray traced gaming, however we had our own reservations as to who this card is actually for, investigated here.

Nvidia has previously listed the RTX 2060 Founders Edition 12GB on the official product page, but has since removed all trace of the Graphic Card. Nvidia also confirms with TechPowerUp that it no longer has plans to release one.
