A few days ago a miner from the mining base posted images claiming to have assembled RTX 4090 Ti and RX 7000 graphics cards for a test run. The RTX 4090 Ti overclocked platform has an arithmetic power of 1.22TH/s, while the RX 7000 is 657.3GH/s and 579GH/s respectively.
Details about an alleged Ethereum mining farm based on NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti and AMD RX 7000 Series are surfacing. Everything points to this being misinformation, as neither solution has been released.

This year, NVIDIA is expected to launch the RTX 4000 series based on Hopper architecture and AMD is expected to launch the RX 7000 series based on RDNA 3. The information we have about these graphics cards is still quite limited. But now there is an alleged Ethereum mining farm based on these graphics cards. Something that seems highly unlikely and, if it were so, would represent a huge scandal.
According to the leaked image, there is an Ethereum mining farm based on next-generation graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA. Apparently, the NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti would have been overclocked. Then there is the AMD RX 7000 series, one group overclocked and others benchmark only.
The NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti would be clocked at a rate of 1.2-1.3TH/s. The exact number of graphics cards required to achieve this hash rate is unknown. Currently, RTX 3090s deliver between 100-120MH/s, so approximately 1000 RTX 3090 graphics cards would be required to achieve a hash rate of 1.2-1.3TH/s.

In contrast, the data for AMD Radeon graphics cards is rather vague. As shown, the AMD RX 7000 series offers a hash rate of 657.3GH/s. Then there are the overclocked models, which offer a hash rate of 580GH/s. Since we don’t know the model, we can’t provide any further information on this.
Three active accounts are known to be associated with it, including the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti (Overclock Test), AMD Radeon RX 7000 (OC Test), and AMD Radeon RX 7000 (Control Test). The RTX 4090 Ti mining pool has an arithmetic power of 1.2~1.3 TH/s, with reference to the market RTX 3090 flagship graphics card which only has an arithmetic power of around 110~120 MH/s, the latter needs tens of thousands to match it.
Unfortunately, the main Worker Tab screen doesn’t show the number of GPUs in use, but it’s clearly not just one RTX 4090 Ti.
In addition, the RX 7000 (OC Test) pool has an average of 657.3 GH/s, while the RX 7000 (Control Test) pool has a hash rate of 580 GH/s.
Apparently, the mining farm would have recorded a peak of 3.91TH/s and is currently averaging 2.47TH/s. This Ethereum mining farm, if real, would generate about 5 ETH every 3 hours, which is equivalent to $4 million per month.
It cannot be ruled out that this is a manipulated image of a real mining farm. It is very likely that the original image has been altered to contain false data. It is best to take this information with a grain of salt.
From the consensus of the news received so far, the RTX 40 series graphics cards will be released in the third quarter of next year at the earliest, and even if they have been streamed and started early assembly testing in the third or fourth quarter of this year, they will not flow into the mining field so easily and massively, which feels like a bigger bluff.
